With a graduate degree in Anthropology, my background emphasizes the importance of people’s narratives. Working with museums, artists, start-ups, production companies and individuals, I bring stories to life. Whether through text or experiences — such as exhibitions, installations or marketing interactives— I help clients execute their creative initiatives.
From the heart of the New York City museum and art world (Museum of Sex, El Museo. Visual AIDS…) to the arts collectives of London (Kindred Studios), I have extensive experience curating a wide range of museum, gallery and online exhibitions. Check out some of my curatorial projects »
Dubbed a “sexpert supreme” by Cosmopolitan Magazine, for more than a decade I served as the Curator of the Museum of Sex, cultivating a wealth of experiences for my first book and memoir, "Sex in the Museum: My Unlikely Career At New York's Most Provocative Museum (St. Martins Press).
As a SEXUAL CULTURALIST I create both content and strategy for those who recognize a better understanding of sex, sexuality, and identity are critical domains for the success of cultural institutions and corporations alike.
Working with individual clients — from artists to start ups —- I help get your story down on paper. Like interesting and informative curatorial text, I can assist you in distilling your message, whether it be an artist bio or creating rich narratives for websites. Think of me as your personal curator. What a personal ethnographer can do for you? »
Through my platform, Citizen Curated, I assist individuals in identifying the artifacts that tell the story of their lives. Citizen Curated »
